Soltra Lawncare was founded in 2026 with a simple belief: great lawn care starts beneath the surface.
We saw too many companies offering one-size-fits-all treatments—quick applications that made lawns look better for a moment, but never truly healthier. Homeowners deserved more than surface-level results. They deserved understanding, intention, and care.
That’s where Soltra comes into play.

I’m Cory Mitchell, co-founder and CEO of Soltra Lawncare. I started this company because I didn’t agree with where the lawn care industry was heading or what it was ignoring.
For years, I watched lawns get treated like surface-level projects: mow it, spray it, make it look good for a moment, then repeat the cycle. But underneath it all, the real foundation was being overlooked, soil health. And when the soil is neglected, no amount of cosmetic work creates lasting results.
That’s what pushed me to build Soltra.
I believe lawn care needs a reset and to get away from short-term appearance and toward long-term soil function. Healthy soil isn’t a bonus in my eyes; it’s the starting point. Every service we offer is designed to rebuild that foundation: stronger biology, better structure, and more resilient turf from the ground up.
My mission is simple: change the way people think about lawn care by proving that when you take care of the soil first, everything above it becomes naturally better, stronger, and more sustainable.

I’m Justin Mitchell, co-founder and COO of Soltra Lawncare. I’ve been working in the lawn care industry for over 5 years, learning the realities of what actually makes turf perform long-term and what often gets overlooked.
Over that time, I saw the same pattern repeat itself: lawns being maintained on the surface, while the deeper issues in the soil were rarely addressed. That experience shaped how I think about this work. Real results don’t come from quick fixes, and they come from consistency, attention to detail, and building from the ground up.
At Soltra, my role is focused on execution and standards. I make sure every service reflects our belief that soil health is the foundation of everything we do. From mowing to aeration, it’s about doing the fundamentals right and staying disciplined in the process.
What drives me is being part of a company that’s changing the direction of this industry and moving it away from temporary results and toward healthier, more sustainable lawns that improve over time.
